ABOUT

The Midland County Fresh Water Supply District No. 1 is a fresh water supply district and political subdivision of the State of Texas, created and functioning under chapters 49 and 53 of the Texas Water Code and the provisions of Article XVI, Section 59 of the Texas Constitution. The District was created for the purpose of conserving, transporting, and distributing fresh water from any source for domestic and commercial purposes. This District’s service area consists of the City of Midland. The District serves the City of Midland by delivering water to the City from the T-Bar Ranch Facilities in Winkler and Loving Counties. The District is governed by a board composed of five elected supervisors.
